Mexican Air Force Takes Delivery


On Friday 24 May, 2002 the Mexican Air Force SDN took delivery of four Bell 412 helicopters. At a ceremony in the Completion and Delivery Center in Fort Worth, Texas Steve Estill Vice President of Commercial Sales, assisted by Carey Bond Vice President Customer Support and Services, and Frank King Executive Director for Latin America, presented the "Keys" to the helicopters.

There to accept delivery were several Mexican Air Force Officers including General Fausto Manuel Zamorano, General Jose Alfredo Gonzalez Garcia, and Colonel Camilo Vega Rivera. Also included in the ceremony were the pilots and technicians who took flight and maintenance at the Bell Training Academy - Major Jorge Luis Echaniz Gil, Captain Jose Antonio Gomez Rodriguez, Captain Juan Gabriel Valadez Franco, Captain Francisco Javier Menendez Olivares, LT Fabian Sanchez Morales, LT Emilio Acosta Vasquez, 2LT Abel Ramirez Torres, and 1SGT Tomas Pulido Delgado. On Saturday 25 May these Pilots and Technicians departed, flying their helicopters back to their units in Mexico
